Belly Fat Burning Foods

Belly fat burning foods – real or bunk? Do belly fat burning foods exist? What are the belly fat burning foods? Cottage cheese, celery, raspberries, and grapefruits are just some of the alleged belly fat burning foods that many people seem to believe can help them lose belly fat. But I am here to tell you that the whole idea of belly fat burning foods is a complete nonsense.

How do I know that the so-called belly fat burning foods do not really exist? First of all, there are no credible scientific studies showing that, say, cottage cheese, aids weight loss or helps reduce belly fat. Second, I regularly eat celery and raspberries, yet I have not noticed any change in my body fat percentage. Third, people gain weight and increase their belly fat percentage because they consume too many calories and too much sugar, which means that if for example you eat too much cottage cheese or raspberries, you will gain weight.

One can make an argument that it does not really matter which foods you eat, that’s right, you can lose belly fat by eating ice cream, assuming the amount of calories you get from ice cream stays within your weight-loss range. Okay, it is an extreme example and I certainly do not recommend that you go on an ice cream diet, but you get the point.

The other reason why the belly fat burning foods is a diet fad has to do with the fact that no diet or a group of foods can spot-reduce belly fat. In addition, while we are on this subject, it needs to be noted that diet pills and supplements that make similar claims are just as worthless as the belly fat burning foods. They cannot burn belly fat or help you lose weight.

So do not waste your time on trying to figure out which foods are the belly fat burning foods, and do not waste your money on diet pills. Instead, spend your time on putting together a balanced diet that controls your daily calorie intake and supplies your body with nutrients it needs to function properly.
