I know some diet experts claim that protein shakes can accelerate weight loss, but protein shakes alone do not burn belly fat.
Yes, it is true because a quality protein shake can be a valuable addition to your diet. Assuming you are using a low-calorie protein shake, it can help you lose weight and belly fat. Not because it has some magical fat-burning power, but simply because it is a part of a balanced diet. Of course, if you drink nothing but protein shakes, which I do not recommend, you will probably lose belly fat too, but this is definitely not a good idea.
Your body needs numerous nutrients to be healthy. And while protein shakes can be nutritious, they certainly do not contain the same amount of nutrients that are found in a food diet. So, follow a balance diet and have a protein shake once in a while, or every day if you want to, but make sure that you also consume a wide variety of other foods.
